Soups Around the World!

So here are the soups that I did and the recipes, I hope you will enjoy and make them 
Irish Garlic Potato Soup

Irish Garlic Potato Soup
·         Servings: 6
·         Time: 1hr
·         Difficulty: easy

2.25 lb. Klondike Goldust Potatoes, sliced
.75 lb. sweet onion, sliced
3 – 14.5 oz. cans College Inn Chicken Broth
2 Tbsp. butter4 tsp. Colonel De’s Garlic Goodness
1 cup half and half
½ tsp. kosher salt or to taste
In a stockpot add butter and onions, cook over med-high heat for about 5 minutes.
Add sliced potatoes, onions, and chicken broth, cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, add Garlic Goodness and cook until potatoes are tender.
Remove from heat, with an immersion blender blend until smooth or leave a little chunky.  If using a blender, blend in batches, just make sure the center of the blend lid is removed, place a towel over the top of the lid.
Once blended add back to pot, add salt and add half and half, warm on low and serve.
Optional – Add onions straws and chives for a garnish.

Mexican Pozole Soup

2 – 15.5 oz. cans hominy
3-4 – 14.5 oz. cans College Inn Beef Broth
3-4 cups shredded pork
3 tsp. Colonel De’s Chipotle Seasoning
Add to a large stock pot broth, hominy, pork and seasonings, bring to a boil and serve with garnishes below:
Shredded cabbage
Radish slices
Chopped onion
Chopped hot peppers
Avocado slices
Lime wedges
Tortilla chips
Chopped Cilantro

Avgolemono (Greek Lemon & Chicken Soup)

64 oz. College Inn Chicken Broth
Shredded chicken breast from whole chicken
2 tsp. Colonel De’s Greek Seasonings
1 cup instant rice
4 eggs
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 Tbsp. water
¼ – ½ cup lemon juice, per your taste
salt to taste
In a large stock pot over med-high heat bring broth to a boil, covered, then add rice, chicken and seasonings, cover and reduce to low until rice is cooked.
In a medium bowl add water and cornstarch and whisk, then add eggs and beat until completely blended, whisk in lemon juice.  Take 4 cups of the hot soup and slowly add to the egg mixture while whisking constantly so that the mixture will not break.  Stir mixture into the rest of the soup.  Season to taste and serve immediately, garnish each bowl with a lemon slice and a few baby spinach leaves.

Pho Bo (Vietnamese Soup, this picture was taken before broth was added)

·         Time: 3hr
·         Difficulty: easy

8-10 cups College Inn Beef broth
1 Colonel De’s Pho soup pouch
1 pkg. rice noodles
sirloin steak, trimmed and thinly sliced, kept raw
Green onions, tops thinly sliced
fresh cilantro leaves
Add broth and pho pouch to a medium pot and bring to a boil, then let simmer for 3 hours.
Cook rice noodles as directed and drain.  Place portion of noodles in a large individual soup bowls sprinkle of green onions and cilantro leaves.
Top that with a few thin slices of raw sirloin, set bowls aside.
Make each garnish plate with below
Bean sprouts, Thai basil leaves, hot sliced peppers, some sriracha and hoisin sauce.
Before serving bring broth up to almost a boil, ladle broth in to your bowls.  And add garnishes to your bowl as you wish.

Ingredients: Easy cake recipes 125 grams of butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, two-thirds of a cup of blended sugar, 3 eggs, 3 cups of flour, 3 teaspoons of baking powder, half cup of milk, half cup of jam, half cup of whipped cream, Cherries as needed, 4 tablespoons of brown sugar , 10 to 12 paper cups.

Method: Take milk, butter, vanilla essence, sugar, eggs and flour and baking powder together in a bowl and mix well and beat smoothly. Arrange the paper cups on the baking tray. Fill two-thirds of each cup and pour the cake mixture. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 20 to 25 minutes. If a piece of cake sticks to the scissors or a knife, bake for another 5 to 6 minutes.

When the cake has cooled out of the oven, cut the top of each cupcake round with a sharp knife. Cut the cut parts in half and place them on a separate plate to make butterfly wings. In the hole of each cupcake, first put some jam and whipped cream on it. Now place the cut parts on the cake like a fan. Now put cherries, sprinkle a little icing sugar and serve for crowed pleasures.

Materials: For the cake: 125 grams of butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence, 1 cup of blended sugar, 1.5 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 3 teaspoons of sodium bicarbonate, half a cup of milk.
For frosting: half a cup of butter, 2 cups of icing sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 2 tablespoons of cream.

Method: Mix all the ingredients of the cake together to make a smooth batter, until it becomes pale in color. Brush the butter in a round baking pan. Pour the batter into the cake and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degree Celsius for one and a half to two and a half hours. Insert the tip of the scissors or knife to see if the cake is done.

In a clean bowl, smooth the butter and a pinch of salt and beat. Now beat 1 teaspoon of butter with icing sugar. When the icing sugar solidifies, beat it with the appropriate amount of cream and soften it. Butter cream frosting was made. Brush it on the cake and design as you like.

You have to give vanilla in it. Divide the mixture into three parts and mix one part with cocoa powder. Now put one part of the mixture in the oven proof container and put the cocoa powder mixture on it. Bake in the microwave at 100 degrees Celsius for 8 minutes with another part of the mixture. Melt the chocolate and pour it on the cake and serve as desired.

Ingredients: 550 gms of almond powder, 60 gms of icing sugar, 2 teaspoons of butter, 2 eggs, 3 cups of flour, 3-4 drops of almond flavor and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Method: Beat butter and icing sugar together in a bowl until soft. When it becomes soft, beat it with egg for another 5 minutes. Then you have to beat almond powder, flour and baking powder one by one for a while more. Then pour the whole mixture into a pot and bake in the oven at 180 degree Celsius for 30 minutes and serve almond soft cake.

Materials: 8 cups of flour, 2 cups of sugar, 3/4 of 1 cup of cocoa powder without sweet, half a teaspoon of baking powder, 3/4 of 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 3 parts of 4 parts of 1 teaspoon of salt, 3 eggs, 1 cup of milk , Half a cup of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, 20 ounces of cherries, 1 part of 1 part of 1 cup of corn, 3 cups of thick cream, 1 part of 1 cup of powdered sugar.

How to make
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread the flour 9 inches evenly in the cake pan. Cover the top of the pan with wax paper.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, 2 cups sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Then blend eggs, milk, oil and 1 tablespoon vanilla in a beater. Pour everything into the baking tray with butter.
3. Bake for 3 hours and 35 minutes. Then look inside with a toothpick. If the cake does not come up with a toothpick, then the cake is done. Bring out and cool for 10 minutes. Loosen around the cake. Sprinkle half a cup of juice on top. (How to make juice Boil 1 teaspoon of cherries, 1 cup of powdered sugar with water over low heat until thickened). Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla before the juice cools. Cool before use.
4. In a medium sized bowl, whisk together the cream and sugar powder at the highest temperature of the beater.
5. Divide the cake vertically with a long knife.

Spread the bread crumbs in the first layer. Spread the foam on top for decoration. Spread the bread crumbs again. Arrange three layers in this way. Arrange the white cream around the cake and serve by sprinkling bread crumbs on top again.

Ingredients: Butter 500 gm, Sugar 500 gm, Eggs 10 gm, Flour 625 gm, Baking powder 5 gm, Vanilla 5 ml, Cherry 100 gm, Orange peel 100 gm, Almond pulp 100 gm, Raisin 100 gm, Powdered sugar 500 gm. 3 egg whites.

Method: Beat butter and sugar mixed with eggs. Sift the flour and baking powder and mix. Now make a good yeast with vanilla, cherry, orange peel, ground almonds and raisins. Now heat it to 180 degrees centigrade. After 30 to 35 minutes, cool down. Make royal icing with sugar powder and egg white. Cut the cold cake into sizes and serve garnished with royal icing.

Ingredients: 8 eggs, 200 grams of sugar, 200 grams of flour, 5 grams of vanilla, 50 grams of butter, butter cream.

Ingredients: two and a half cups of flour, 3 teaspoons of yeast, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 eggs, 3 cups of liquid milk (light hot), 3 tablespoons of oil, 3 cups of cooking chocolate (melted), 3 tablespoons of sugar, water , Salt to taste and 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavor.

Method: Mix a little sugar and yeast in a quarter cup of lukewarm water and leave it for 10 minutes. Beat the egg in another bowl and mix it with milk, oil, salt, vanilla flavor and remaining sugar and divide the mixture into two equal parts. Now mix one part of cooking chocolate. On the other hand, measure 1 cup of flour and 1.5 cups in this way and take it in two separate containers. Mix cocoa powder with 1 cup. When the soaked yeast swells, cut it in half. Make two different soft yeasts by mixing flour in one of the two mixtures of milk and flour mixed with cocoa in the other. Give a mixture of cocoa powder with the milk given to the cooking chocolate. Day with yeast in two mixtures. If necessary, you can use some extra water or flour.

Now take these two yeasts in separate containers, put oil on them and keep them in a warm place. After 1 hour, when the yeast swells, take two square loaves of bread according to the size of your pan separately with a good mayan. Now place the chocolate bread on the white one, wrap it on one side and roll the whole bread. Now put the oil or butter brushed in a loaf pan and let it simmer again for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 minutes. Cut down and serve. It can be eaten for breakfast in the morning using butter, jam or any such spread.
